Turkey's health minister has announced a package of measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including a cold chain system for the transport of vaccines and anti-serum. The aim is to prevent the temperature from being raised in the car when transporting the vaccine or anti-serum. If the temperature is above 40 °C, the car will be stopped and the driver will be asked to get out of the vehicle.
A cold chain is a method of transporting vaccines and anti-serum in which the product is stored at a low temperature and is transported in a special vehicle. The advantage of this method is that the transport of the vaccine and anti-serum is carried out without any contact with people. The products are transported in such a way that they are not affected by the high temperature.
